Follow the yellow brick  road into a night of Oz magic! Saturday night, October 17 from 8-11pm, Odd Fellows Hall will be transformed into a wildly imaginative Wonderful World of Oz. Celebrate the Orcas Island Film Festival as filmmakers, special guests, visiting industry, and fellow film lovers gather to enjoy electrifying beats by Sub Pop founder Bruce Pavitt & Miami’s DJ CARE in a fantastical world created by LUIGI’S TOOL SHOP. Join friends, neighbors, and visitors for a community Thanksgiving dinner on  Thursday, November 26. Doors open at 4pm, with dinner beginning at 4:30pm. Turkey will be provided, and everyone is invited to bring a dish to share. To help create a well-rounded Thanksgiving feast, please bring a dish based on the  first letter of your last name: A–H: Your favorite side dish — mashed potatoes, yams, vegetables, or another favorite I–L: Dessert M–Z: Salad Bring your own plates, cups, silverware, and beverages of choice. If  possible, bring a card listing the ingredients in your dish and note whether it is vegan, vegetarian, gluten-free, or meets other dietary needs. Whether you’re spending Thanksgiving with family, friends, neighbors, or are simply looking for a welcoming place to share the holiday, there’s a seat at  the table for you!
